Ronin Sport supplies their innovative solution to the German sports market – ensuring sports fans never miss a game

Digital sports business Ronin Sport is on a global launching journey starting with one of the big five sports markets in Europe – Germany.

Swedish Ronin Sports’ purpose is to ensure sports fans get the correct information for watching their favorite team, live, for every game. Whether it be on TV or streaming. Their next-generation digital sports guide is on a global expansion journey, and Germany is the latest destination.

With their German launch, Ronin Sport ensures punctuality for German sports fans, while increasing the overall viewer experience of live sports on TV and streaming. This by serving their innovative solution to one of the major sports betting groups, integrating their sports guide with two of the country’s biggest sports sites.

The data shows that the German public will highly appreciate Ronin’s real-time solution for sports guides. The country has more than 91,000 sports clubs and as of 2022, roughly 17.57 million Germans are highly interested in watching live broadcasts of sports events, according to statistics from Statista.

– We are excited about launching our product in Germany. We hope that we can add value to passionate sports fans that follow their sport on TV or stream, says Alexander Simeonidis, COO of Ronin Sport.

Ronin Sport entering the German market marks its establishment in one of the biggest five sports markets in Europe. The German market has a 20% reach in subscriptions for OTT services and the total spending on sports rights in 2022 is up by 12% from the former year, and still growing steadily. This showcases the German public’s steady interest in live sports and sports betting. More importantly, the stats set the benchmark for Ronin Sport’s contribution to the development of the country’s market as a whole.

Ronin Sport’s digital service will cover 12 sports in over 70 channels in Germany, and more channels will be added over time including the largest networks in the country; SKY, DAZN, Magneta Sport, Das Erste, ProSieben, and ZDF to name a few.

– We have a mission to help sports-related digital businesses to be more successful and provide an excellent user experience for their end users, says Alexander Simeonidis, COO of Ronin Sport.
